All Natural Fire Ant Bait
Abathor contains the fungus derived active ingredient abamectin. Abamectin is extracted from the fungus and concentrated before it is added to Abathor.
Attractive Right Sized Bait Matrix
The solid "food" component of Abathor Fire Ant Bait is a specially selected yellow corn grit matrix. This matrix is sized to permit ants to easily take particles of the bait back to their colony.
Ant Colony Elimination
Abamectin is a relatively slow acting insecticide that can begin affecting ant populations within 24 hours. This means that foraging ants that find Abathor Ant Bait have enough time to take the bait back to the colony where it can be distributed among the colony members. If enough of the members of the colony consume the bait, the result can be ant colony elimination.
