Isopthor Termite Bait (Diflubenzuron) - 600 g (6 Station Refills)

Isopthor is intended for use in an ongoing program of management and control of subterranean termite colonies around and under any type of building or other object (structure). Isopthor does not exclude termites from a structure. Instead, it completely eliminates termite colonies in the ground where they originate.

What are some of the advantages of termite baiting over spraying chemicals?

Low Impact:  Bait is confined to closed, locked stations.

Low toxicity: The active ingredient used in Isopthor, diflubenzuron, is less toxic than table salt.

Colony control:  Termite baiting eliminates the entire colony, not just the termites that can be located.

Cost effective: Bait is only placed in the station once termites have begun feeding on the station's interceptors.  Adding bait as needed means that bait never goes wasted or unused.

Are there any disadvantages to termite baiting?

Time:  Termite baiting does not eliminate the colony immediately.  It takes time for the bait to be distributed and consumed by the colony.

I have termites attacking my structure.  What should I do?

Once active termites have been observed in a structure, we recommend consulting with a licensed pest control operator to determine the extent of the damage and the best course of action.  In these instances, we would NOT recommend purchasing a termite baiting system until after a professional assesment has been completed.

Why choose Isopthor over other baiting systems?

Money: On average Isopthor owners save 10%-50% when compared to other bait systems.

Convenience: Isopthor bait stations are the largest capacity bait stations on the market today.  Higher capacity means less time spent refilling and servicing stations.  As a result, Isopthor is a true quarterly inspection interval baiting system.

Design: Isopthor is the lowest disturbance bait station configuration and baiting method available.

How far apart should stations be placed?

Stations should be placed 10-15 feet apart.

How far out from the structure should stations be placed?

Stations should be placed 18"-24" from the structure to avoid potential exposure to existing insecticide treatments.

How often should stations be inspected?

Stations should be inspected every 90 days after they have been installed.  If there is known termite activity in the area, inspection intervals can be shortened by 30 or 60 days.
